Create Upstate rallies makers from Buffalo to Albany and everywhere in between in a celebration of design and community.
Its roots originate from a small, homegrown event that happened in 2013 called Syracuse Sync. At the time, Dan Rose sought to bring Syracuse-area designers together to talk about various workflows. The area craved this event, which sparked the idea to fold in all of Upstate New York.
2017 marks Create Upstate's fourth event, each one an improvement on the last. We're excited on the impact it has on the community, both inside and outside our design circles. Fun fact: 2017 is also the first CU not held in Syracuse.
